I must say, i'm impressed with the sturdy construction and ease of installation.

I made a small change to the mount. I took the rubber cushion strips, cut them to fit, and glued them into the mount. This made all the difference in the install, making it super-easy. Wiring and mounting everything took maybe 15 minutes? Super-easy, regardless of your level of expertise.

For Wiring, I went with an Invisicord (about $25 shipped, well worth every penny, they also make a special wiring kit for the concealled display).

Since my mirror has all sorts of electronics connected to it, I was able to remove the back cover of the plug for the main wiring harness, and plug the prongs of the invisicord directly in. No splicing wires, or taking trim pieces apart, this was as easy as it gets.

Invisicord is a superb product, they sent me the wiring instructions and the information for the gallery they have online to see pictures of my wiring harness, properly connected. I thought this was a great thing to have, though I had no issues finding what I needed to, it would be great for a beginner to verify things are wired correctly.

Overall, I would give this product a 10 out of 10. I don't know why someone didn't make it years ago! What a great idea, with an outstanding execution. Thank you for making this mount, I love it!
