I've just installed my new Scangauge 2 and Blendmount on my '01 Crown Vic and thought I would share. Nothing to see really before the install, there are 6 pics.

Picture 1 shows the SG2 mounted on the mirror. I used the 3/4" standoff and the 5 spacers & long screw to get the proper clearance. I also had to use the 7/8" spacer for the collar to fit. Pictures 2, 3 and 4 show the route to under the dash. The headliner has a space between it and the windshield that the cable fits perfectly into. There was plenty of room under the pillar cover for the cable as well (cover removal was not necessary). Picture 5 shows the cable path (circled) behind that cover going behind the carpet. The inline coupler is there connecting the 2 cables. Picture 6 shows the final connection to the OBD port. The extra cable hides nicely behind the carpet there.

It took longer to mount the collar and SC2 than it did to run the cable, but still took only about 20 minutes to complete the job. If you're looking at these photos debating whether or not to get a BlendMount, do it now. This is a quick and painless way to mount your SG2 in a very professional manner. I'm quite pleased!

I'm now looking forward to using my new Scangauge.
